A Successful Month!

What a month this has been! Let me tell you it has been tense! I still can't believe that it is over.
WE HIT OUR FUNDING GOAL! Even though I never doubted that our fans would come through, I am still completely overwhelmed with gratitude at the support that we have received. This month has been a total roller coaster. I don't think I went 5 waking minutes without checking our Kickstarter page (a fact I'm sure my coworkers will attest to).
But now that this work is done, new work begins. We are gearing into a full production schedule for the Edara: A Steampunk Renaissance Core Rulebook in order to get it to your hands by May 2014. This gives us a year to choose only the best artists to illustrate our world, and to insure that the quality of the book and the paper its printed on meet ours (and your) standards.
Thank you all for your support, and for the friendships that are growing out of this campaign. Within the next month or two, you can expect to see a fully unique website complete with social components, chatrooms, and message boards where we can gather to discuss what is happening on the Edara project.
Of course I want to send out a huge thank you to all of our fans and supporters. We could not have done this without you, but there are a few people I want to mention in particular.
Our Families - without all of you, none of this would be happening. Thank you for the love and support you've shown our team through your donations, encouraging words, and kindness. We won't forget it.
Jacob and Christina from Green Badger Games - Thank you guys for running playtests, spreading the word, and offering an encouraging spirit that kept us all motivated! Hopefully this won't be the last time we work together.
Raine and Kae from Initiative Tabletop - You guys were the first to show an interest in Edara and the article you wrote about us garnered a lot of attention. Hopefully this won't be the last time we show up in your news!
Andrew from Geek Native - Thanks for the great Q & A, and really pushing to get the word out about Edara. You brought in a whole new overseas crowd, and we are glad to say that people are now talking about Edara across the globe!
Adam Ferrell from Epic Slant Press for constantly retweeting and sharing our new with your fans. It was great to see ourselves on your page, and for the great shoutout on your podcast.
And lastly, DJ Grandpa, for featuring us in his Elevator Pitch and helping us blow quite a bit past our original goal!
You guys were great, and keep up the good work.
For those who did not back us, do not fear! You can still be part of the conversation and camaraderie that will grow out of this situation. Keep watching our blog to get exciting updates, and be sure to look for the book when it hits virtual shelves next May.
This will not be the last you hear from us. But we will be taking some time to gather our resources and set our production schedule in place. Expect to hear back soon for more information.
And lastly, though not for the last time, I want to say Thank You again because I will never be able to say it enough. You guys are just awesome.
See you in Edara.
Ryan Schoon & Carl Harrison
